Package Chaos Skills Tier List

S-tier is the upgrade that removes the pain you can already name.

Skills Tier List

This is the spend order for Package Chaos, not a fighting-game tier list. FunTap Games told you that stocking earns money and money unlocks skills. Steam put Skill Check and Skill Veteran on the 12-achievement board. We still do not have a public, named node list on the store page, so this ranking grades upgrade jobs. When official names are stable, we will write them here without pretending they were always known.

Read skills and money for the economy philosophy. Use this page when you are staring at a menu with coins in your pocket. If you have no coins, go stock true matches using how to sort.

S-tier — buy when the pain is real

Movement (empty walking). The warehouse is a 4,096-box problem. Empty walks between a founded bay and a reject row are the hidden boss. If you notice yourself bored while holding nothing, movement is S. If you are bored while holding the wrong box, movement is a trap — you will arrive faster at the wrong shelf.

Carry (Too Heavy insurance). Too Heavy is a highlighted achievement. That is FunTap printing a carry limit in achievement language. If large electronics cartons already force two trips you resent, carry is S. If you resent two trips because you refuse to make two trips, that is ego. The game has no timer.

Buy only one S-tier node at a time. Skill Check likely fires on first purchase. Let the next 50 stocked boxes prove the pain moved.

A-tier — strong after a shelf exists

High-bay reach or placement helpers. Useful once Shelf Complete is a realistic goal and you are tired of camera wrestling. Useless in hour one when you should be founding three bays on the walkthrough instead of building cathedrals.

Stamina-style or repeat-grab comfort. If such a node exists, it is A after your binds are already sane. Fix controls first. No skill should be a substitute for moving interact off a key you also use to jump.

B-tier — quality of life that can wait

Magnet Hand and scan helpers. Magnet Hand is real and named on the Skills board: it pulls ground items that share the held SKU into empty hand slots. Launch screenshots show LV 0/5, 80 Gold to unlock, and a 60-second cooldown on the next rank. It is beloved at 1,000 Stocked. It is dangerous at 20 stocked because it lets you skip learning shelf tags. Learn the five axes and the carrier banners. Then let Magnet Hand make the long middle kinder. Scan diamonds on the same Skills board are the same idea with a different icon — confirm the tooltip in your build before you spend.

Cosmetic or satisfaction extras. Cozy games love juice. Juice is B unless it also shortens a walk. Your evening is the only clock.

C-tier — usually a trap on night one

Anything you cannot explain in one clause. If the tooltip is cute and your bottleneck is still “I do not rotate the box,” spend zero. Go back to inspect.

Stacking multipliers before identities are founded. Faster wrong towers are still wrong. How to stack is free and does more than a C-tier node.

Panic buys after a pretty screenshot. If you opened the menu because a stack looked holy, you wanted dopamine, not throughput. Close the menu. Walk the lane.

How this list can be wrong for you

If you play seated with a pad and already walk slowly on purpose, movement is not automatically S. If you only handle small collectibles, carry is not automatically S. The package types ranking changes which skill matters: electronics-heavy sessions want carry, special-shipment sessions want inspect discipline more than coins.

Patches can reprice everything. FunTap is a small indie team. Watch launch notes and later patch posts on the updates hub. We would rather leave a skill nameless than print a fake tree.

Spend like you will still be here at box 3,000. That is the only meta Package Chaos has.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common warehouse questions.

What is the best skill in Package Chaos?

The one that removes your current bottleneck, usually movement or carry. There is no universal DPS skill in a stocking game.

When do I get Skill Veteran?

Steam lists Skill Veteran among twelve achievements. It almost certainly tracks repeated purchases. See achievements rather than forcing a dump-buy.

Should I save all money until the end?

No. A movement or carry node pays for itself across 4,096 placements. Save only the coins you cannot yet attach to a named pain.
